What is WEHub?
WEHub is a women-focused entrepreneurship initiative by Yarl IT Hub, launched in 2024. As part of the GRIT Project, in partnership with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC), WEHub established its first centre in Kilinochchi.
The initiative is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs across Sri Lanka’s Northern Province by providing a vibrant and inclusive space that fosters innovation, leadership, and sustainable business growth. Aimed at bridging the gender gap in entrepreneurship, WEHub supports women through tailored programmes, mentorship, and access to essential resources. Training is delivered in key areas such as business planning, financial literacy, digital marketing, and technology integration—enabling women to build resilient and competitive businesses
